Because of remenants of white christmas all over the valley my family wasn't able to spend christmas day with us, but we will be celebrating this weekend road conditions permitting! So there will be family christmas pics later and i will be getting snow storm 2008 pics up here as soon as i can. So Merry christmas to all and we love you and hope you had a great day.

Too Cute Not to Share

Here is Claudette modeling her beautiful western jacket she fell in love with while out here. This was so fun she was really excited about this jacket.

And an absolutely fun picture of John longing for the open road (that's George's motorcycle helmet he's got on!)

LOBSTERS

I'm still new at this so my entries aren't in the order I would like them in so bear with me.

George's mom came for a visit and she had lobster flown out from her home in Rhode Island. So George being the expert lobster maker took and boiled them up in a big pot and we had an absolutely wonderful dinner!
George was worried I wouldn't be able to finish my lobster so he graciously volunteered to finish it for me; I had to fend him off with my fork! I love crab but had only had lobster one time before, but I could sure get used to that yummy treat!!! MMMMM MMMMM GOOOD.

CLAUDETTE CAME FOR A VISIT!

George's mom Claudette and her hubby John came out from Rhode Island to spend Thanksgiving with us. They were able to get up to Seattle to see the Space Needle and we took them over to the coast to watch the Spouting Horn blow over the Highway in Depoe Bay. It was such a good trip and a really great visit. I was extra lucky this year I was able to dodge almost all of the Thanksgiving cooking, Cluadette came and commandeered the kitchen and that was perfectly fine with me! George had a double treat Thanksgiving by mom and meat pies, something I hadn't had before but they are nummy! So here are some pictures from Claudette and Johns visit, we hope they are able to make it all the way back out here for our wedding this September. My camera malfunctioned so ignore the dates on the photos!!! haha. oh well.

grandbaby update

Here is that beautiful little grandbaby again! Rylee is such a cutie. We aren't biased or anything though! Such a sweet little angel.

the upcoming wedding

So for all of you who had given up hope that I would ever remarry miracles do happen and prayers are apparently answered. Lol! Here is a sneak peek at the wedding dress unless we decide to have a less formal ceremony. But this is one option. The unofficial date is September 17 2009, but George has to bid for vacation time, so... we won't have the official date until after the first of the year. I will make sure that the date is announced just as soon as we know! I am working on wedding plans but i must admit it is quite overwhelming. Try to keep an eye on this spot as I may use it to bounce ideas off all of you and get reaction/opinion to different looks and themes that pop into my head. Good luck as you never know what crazy things may pop into my head!

the animals

These are the 'beasts' that we share our house with. That's Meisha on the left, ya, she would be the one using the toilet. She came up with this all on her own now if she'd teach the other 2 George would be a very happy boy!!!! This goofy flop eared dog is Bandit he has a rough time keeping his ears down and his teeth in his mouth. Now we are down to the grey cats. This one here on the left is Oliver he was George's perfectly behaved cat until I and my to beasties moved in (according to him). However my two have pretty well corupted him. The last grey cat the one hiding in the bag (no bag is safe in this house) is Dilly. You can't tell from this picture but she's close to 20lbs of cat, she also has a bent tail and is best friends with that flop eared dog. They curl up together for naps and Bandit nibbles on her ears when she walks past him. Strange animals at our house!!!!

grandbaby

This is our exciting news. George is a grandpa! This is the brand new grandbaby girl; Rylee Michelle. She was born August 11, 2008. We are so excited and looking forward to watching her grow up! We are planning to take a trip back to see them next year so we can hold that sweet baby girl and visit with her daddy(George) and meet her mommy(Amy). We will keep you updated with all the pictures we can!

george and debbi

This is us. Having a great time at the beach on the bike. That is a perk of doing chores for Debbi's mom as she lives at the beach so it's a good excuse for a day trip. We took care of some repairs mom needed done and got to escape the heat of the valley and enjoy the sun, sand and sea air of the beach. Not a bad trade.
