So here are Brittinie and Ryan decorating the tree and James taking his first look at a christmas tree and lights.... so far not too impressed I don't think but he did seem to like the lights they were very interesting, and shiney...

Thanksgiving update

So there has been quite a few things that have happened since or over thanksgiving... We did our big dinner on wednesday night since George had to work on Thursday night. So I will try to get you all caught up on events.... Ryan and Brittinie and grandbaby James are living with us now while they make some transitions. So we have a full house! That's been an adjustment, but so far seems to be going well. And this was one of the big occurances that happened over Thanksgiving.... April and James are pregnant!! They are very happy, they told us after Thanksgiving dinner and we are all very excited for them! Their little one is due at the end of May of 2010. They don't know yet what they are having (besides human) but will keep you posted as we hear....

We are so Thankful for our friends and family and we love you all, hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas and that the New Year is kind to you all!!

the doves from the bridal shower cake made a nice touch.....

Bachelorette party

So here are a few pics from the bachelorette party....

First the girls arrived... Julie and Lisa blowing up balloons for a game later in which I have to pop the balloons with my butt...LOL

Bandit's treat

I hadn't done this before but I had heard stories of how humorous this treat was so I had to give it a try.. Bandit was the benefactor/victim of this treat...We had just finished a jar of peanut butter, so I gave him the jar to finish up... here is the hilarious result!!!

Little Miss Muffett

ok so I was out in the yard watering plants when I came across this little "gem".... he was quite a distrubing sight but somehow intrigueing as well... so I took a couple of pictures of him and his huge web...before George came along and squished him.... so here is the freaky big spider.

George & Donna visit 2006

I just found these pictures of George and Donna's visit out here in 2006. Unfortunately this was just before George and I started seeing one another so I missed this visit but I'm looking forward to getting to meet them in person... not just talking on the phone. Hopefully we get to do a trip back east next year(?) to see everyone!

Close Call

So here was a bit of excitement... our neighbors tree lost a huge limb yesterday! They have 2 huge old oak trees in their front yard
and yesterday one of them gave way.. fortunately it didn't do any damage other than to the tree and leaving a family of squirrels homeless temporarily.. I think they've already relocated to our walnut tree. Angels must have been watching since the neighbor doesn't usually park as far forward in the driveway as she did this particular morning. Good thing otherwise her car wouldv'e been a casuality!
